The Alchemist, in sector-21, Panchkula, another project by DESIGNERS FORUM is one of the prominent hospitals in the Tricity. The 200-bedded multi-specialty hospital is spread over an area of 1.39 acres and has been in application for more than a decade now. Built to international standards, the hospital prescribes verifiable standards of public healthcare.
With a well-Integrated and coordinated design, an attempt has been made to make a difference in the approach towards the design of healthcare units. Sensitivity in planning internal spaces, with an equal amount of importance bestowed on the aesthetic and ambience, intends to create a therapeutic environment -pivotal to achieving the physical and emotional well-being of the users.
Designed with a holistic approach, the conceptual module covered all aspects of hospital planning including functionality, construction, and user need. Parking needs have been solved by introducing triple stack parking which is one of its kind in Tricity in the newly built 9-storeyed structure.
To cater to round-the-clock use and high occupancy in IPD and OPD an endeavor has been made to gain the benefits of green and sustainable design. Adhering to the prerequisite of energy efficiency, the facade is adorned with VM-ZINC sheeting and HPL panels along with double-glazing units for windows. Drywalls for room partitions and fly ash brick for exterior walls contribute towards the goal of sustainability.
